We all know the story of the butterfly's metamorphosis, of how a crawling, slimy worm becomes a beautiful creature with colourful wings. I have always wondered if the butterfly remembers its larval phase, and until recently, we thought it could not. However, studies have shown that this magical transformation holds more mysteries than we once believed.
