Today’s reflection is on the things that interconnect us. I hope it serves as a balm in times of great division, that you take time to pause and reflect on the topics discussed. This week I also came across some incredible podcasts, essays, and readings that have inspired me, and fed my work. I hope you find them inspiring too. Right now, on my body, are the remnants of other bodies and beings. There is the pollen from the trees outside my window, there are the insects that have come to visit the plants inside my home, and often annoyingly land on my face. There are millions of spores, which are flying around in the air and carried by the wind. There is the humidity from the sea near my home, and there are probably remnants of hairs and skin and other microorganisms of other bodies. We are relational by nature, we carry on us other histories, other lives, and other’s cries of survival.
