Forest of knowledge: Summer '24 Edition
your summer reading list is here.
This is Forest of Knowledge. For those new here, every season I share books, podcasts, music, and movies that I am currently using in my research, or that have particularly impacted my thoughts and reflections through the years. If you like this kind of stuff, don’t forget that under every essay in this newsletter, you can find an Inspiration Station, where I share two or three discoveries from my week.
Summer has arrived in the Northern Hemisphere and with it a sense or renewal, at least for me. It is still not so hot that I am reminded of the rising temperatures of this world. This has been a challenging year for me, and Summer feels like a second chance. Amist life’s tribulations something that has always felt like a return home have been the books and works of other people, who continue to inspire me.
I always say my work is not made in isolation, everything I do is held by the pens, voices, paintbrushes, and dedicated work of others. And I hope that in turn my work will be the same for others. Here is where I share the things that hold this work.
I want WAVES to be a space where readers can come in and take what they need in the moment, where they can engage with different senses.
If you have missed the previous Forest of Knowledge editions, here is the Winter one, the Spring one, and Summer ‘23 one, featuring a short ritual to read with intention which I love doing! I hope these serve you in your work, research, or simply bring more knowledge, joy, and curiosity. 🌱
Enjoy this edition, filled with inspiration and joy. May it accompany you through this season!
