At this moment of strong collective grief for what is happening with climate change, I believe we should hold eachother however possible. I want as many people as possible to be able to access this publication and all the resources that come with it, especially at a time that feels so tender. So I am offering a 10% discount until September. Also, enjoy the audio, I really love curating these so much!
The intention of this publication is to pose questions, this is a place where I want us to feel comfortable with not knowing everything right away, a place to offer a different approach to solution finding, one that might be slower but is hopefully radical. As we watch the world burn because of our ecocidal ways, I am left wondering how we still approach climate disasters (as well as rape, femicide and many other things) as momentary aberrations, and perhaps there are many different answers to that. To understand something as part of a systemic issue is to understand the rotten soil on which it has roots. To do this, we must zoom out, get out of our bodies and merge with the non-human.

In a recent conversation I had with Ayesha Khan (a.k.a thewokescientist) we discussed the topic at length, noticing that capitalist progress seems to equal a desecration of Community. The truth is that without relations and Community, it would be very difficult to exist as a human, and this sentiment grows even stronger when we are oppressed. The political Sisterhood of women in oppressive societies is an incredible example of that. In many countries where abortion is illegal, women come together in underground networks of solidarity to support eachother. Community literally saves people’s lives.
