Hello,

This week, instead of an essay, I am sharing a little practice of self-reflection that I’ve prepared with a lot of love.

First, let me just say I am incredibly grateful to each of you for supporting my work, giving me feedback, and cheering me on from the crowd. I cannot wait to share more with you next year…I have some exciting things cooking 🌱

Without further ado….

Welcome to the End of year Radical Reflection Ritual! Here we form our vision and pose questions. I have prepared this practice & ritual because our self-awareness and agency have a decisive role in society. Dismantling the systems we live in starts with dismantling those that inhabit us. Cultivating a practice of self-awareness and care is a revolutionary act. Whether we want it or not, our existence is political, so I created this gentle practice to have the time to slow down, take inventory of last year (for different areas of our lives), and set intentions for this new one.

At the end of the PDF, I have included a link to the Audre Lorde Questionnaire To Oneself, created by Divya Victor in 2016.

The winter solstice that just happened marks a time of change, an ending and a beginning. With this new year coming, this is a perfect time to celebrate yourself by taking some time for reviewing. I do this ritual every year, but this year I have refined it, and I will be doing it with you.

Enjoy it, and Happy new moon!
